For those who haven’t noticed, I’ve been taking a break from blogging ever since we returned from China. I’ve been going through a bit of post-partum depression with the Lemmertorium. Blogging from China was a no-brainer, as everything we posted was interesting and unique. Now that everything is normal again, I know that I’ll have to work harder to find things worth writing about.
It’s a little daunting, frankly. Blogging, in and of itself, is pretty easy. Blogging well, isn’t. It requires a lot of dedication to find something to talk about on a regular basis. And my fear is that my life isn’t all that interesting anymore. But, I like blogging, and for the time being I’m going to continue with it. I miss writing about everything, and I miss hearing from all my friends and family. And who knows, maybe someday people I don’t know will start paying attention to this blog… nah. ![]()
These posts relate directly to Lemmertorium.com and Lemmertorium2.com.
I changed a few things on the site tonite, let me know if anyone has any problems.
Hey, just thought I’d drop a quick link to our German friend’s blog. Especially since they have a few pics up from our trip to Laizhou together. Their name’s are Lara and Dominico. You can find them here. They speak English really well, so be sure and leave a comment. (And find a good translator if you want to read anything, maybe babelfish, or Google).
First of all, our apologies for being down so enormously long. And-in fact-we’re still down. Our previous webhost has been moving datacenters for several weeks now, and I don’t know if they will be up anytime soon (or if isn’t just a rouse as they run away with our money!) Anyway, I’ve opted to switch to a new carrier, godaddy.com.
Again, we’re going to build the website up from scracth, and we currently don’t have access to any of the previous posts. If the old site returns we will update the database with the old information. Unfortunately, I don’t know if that will happen or not.
:-(
We’re doing well in China. We’ve had safe trips on our vacations (we were just returning as the last website went down). We are currently planning a move our own, into another apartment building in town. Thank you all for your questions about the website, it’s so great to see that it’s such a significant part of poeple’s lives!
