The EPIC Bell
In Suzhou we went to a temple with the biggest bell I have ever seen in my life, surely one of the largest in the world. I made a couple of videos of it for your enjoyment.

The Journey so Far
We just got off the plane at LAX. So far traveling’s been decent. The most discomfort I’ve experienced so far is riding in the car to Valentine with Tizzy in the carrier next to me. The more irate she became, the more substances were excreted from her body. It’s really a good lesson for me to take to China with me, no matter how uncomfortable I am during the 13 hour plane trips and 17 hour train rides, at least I won’t be forced to sit in a puddle of my own excrement. That said, it IS China… You never know.
We’ll be leaving LA at 3PM (5PM Central) for a 13 hour flight to Taipei, and a short jaunt to Hong Kong. If you’d like to talk to Lacey or I do it before we leave. I should be able to check voicemail from China, but no texts.
I’ll write again as soon as I can.

WhatBlocked – Tracking the Great Firewall of China
All the sites in red are sites that are currently being blocked in China…no Facebook, Posterous, Twitter, etc…. Fortunately, I can still post to these sites via email, (and other secret means), but I won't be able to respond to comments, wall posts etc. If you need to get ahold of me while Lacey and I are in China use gmail.
